Internet Of Things Devices!!
There are hundreds of devices that use the internet of things so I’m just going to mention a couple that you would have noticed. I’m sure you also use some of these devices everyday. Still others sit unnoticed until really needed.
Pet Collars!!
If you have a dog that used to run away a lot or one that you just want to know where they are then you have one of these collars. The collars act as a tracking device. I’m sure you also have the app on your phone to see where it is.
How does the information get from the collar to your phone?
The data gets to your phone when transferred through internet of things devices. Your dogs collar may have GPS yet it still needs help getting to where you are. The collar doesn’t have a wireless phone attached. What it does have is a wireless network it can use to get to your phone.
Small Children’s Clothing!!
If you have small children then you know what I’m going to say is true. While shopping you get distracted for a split second. Next thing you know You turn around to find that there is no one with you and your heart drops. Start looking around frantically. For the little one that is supposed to stay with you. You may have even gone so far as to have a leash for them an they slipped out of it. These days you can get clothing for children that have the same type of device your dog collar has so that you can find them with your phone. That is amazing to me.
Your Electric And Gas Meters!!
If you grew up around the same time as me you remember the guys that used to walk around and check the meters on your homes. You also remember how unreliable it was. Every month you checked the bill making sure the number is recorded correctly. I remember many times having to call in and have it corrected because the number was too high. At other times expecting the next month to be higher because they had too low of a number. It happened all the time!!
You will notice that today we don’t have those issues. The meters now use the internet of things to send the data to the electric and gas companies. This makes life so much easier than having to make sure the numbers are correct. You already know because the meter sent the data straight to the computer.
How did this come about?
This came about with the internet of things. This isn’t the internet. This is a connection of things so that data can be passed. Just like the dog collars you don’t pay extra because the devices aren’t on a “plan”. They are on the network that connects everything together.
Bike and Scooter Rentals!!
Any big city has the bike and scooter rentals that you can do. There are even some that you just have to tap with your phone and go from any point on the street. You have seen them parked on sidewalks or pretty much anywhere else people leave them. So how do they get serviced? How do the people servicing know where they need to go an get them? Are they driving around town wasting gas just to find maybe one or two that need service. You know they aren’t.
These devices send data to there smart devices. Again they don’t have cell service. They are connected within the internet of things. Same system that sends data from one place to another without WiFi or cell service. I know I just blew your mind because you we convinced I was talking about WiFi.
Connecting Without WiFi Or Cell Service!!
This is done through internet of things devices. They all connect with each other to send data through the city, state, country, or world. We have a way that you can be a part of this and earn crypto currency just by placing one of these items. You can be a part of the solution to the whole thing. Who knows by you placing one in your home maybe it could help find a lost dog. Or better yet someones child. We hear on the news all the time about children becoming separated from their parents and lost for days. Wouldn’t it be better if we could find them with help from our smart phones and help from people we know.
