History Of The Internet of Things!
This history started at MIT with a man named Kevin Ashton. He and his team discovered a way to connect objects with the internet. The thing that they used was called an RFID tag. You already know that machines have been communicating with each other since the telegraphs in the 1930’s. Did you know the other technologies that used the same process.

Yet before the internet in 1982 there was a university that did something “unthinkable”. Carnegie Mellon University connected the first appliance with local ethernet or ARPANET. This appliance was a Coke machine.
This machine gave the students the ability to find out if their favorite drink was stock and more importantly cold.
Today we have more and more devices that use this technology. The Internet of Things connects devices and allows them to communicate in real time. The real plus to this is that it promises positive changes in the following areas.
